MOG Music joins Grammy Academy

Popular Ghanaian gospel artiste, MOG Music has been admitted as a member of the renowned Grammy Academy.


The multiple award-winning gospel gem had his admission proved by the Grammy board, becoming the first Ghanaian gospel musician to achieve such a feat.


“This is a dream come true,” said MOGmusic, reacting to the news. “This is the pinnacle every musician wishes to get to. I am glad to be putting Ghana on the map once again.”He added


He further noted that his admission into the academy is a motivation for him to do more as a gospel musician.


Known in real life as Nana Yaw Boakye, MOG Music is a Ghanaian contemporary gospel singer, songwriter, and Pastor.


He won the Male Vocalist of the Year in 2020 and 2021 at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.


MOG Music released his debut album "New Wine" in 2016 which earned him African Gospel Music Awards nominations for "Album of the Year" and "Discovery of the Year".


He released a single "Making it Big" featuring Sarkodie.


MOG Music has collaborated and performed with numerous gospel musicians, including Ohemaa Mercy, Joe Mettle, Denzel Prempeh, Jekalyn Carr, Danny Nettey, Nii Okai, and Ron Kenoly.
